Sealer Water Based

Sealer water based is a water based paint which based on water and could be diluted with water. Paint components used also based on water. Such as binders and additives.

Sealer water based exactly same with sanding sealer water based. Sealer water based didn't use pigments at all. Probably more correct to say if exactly same with top coat(lacquer) water based but without the improve scratch additives. Because the binder used usually same with with binder which used in top coat. So solid content of sealer water based only come from solid binder.

These paints(sealer water based) is used to paint the furniture with an antique effect. Due to the required clarity is very good, certainly good adhesion as well. In the antique effect, it must be able to paint as a bridge between the glaze with a top coat. If the adhesion between the sealer and glaze is less good then the final result will be  vain.

Why didn't use pigments? Why must have very good clarity? Using pigments can affect the clarity. In an antique effect furniture, sealer water based used many times. It can be 3 times or 4 times or could be more. With this application step, sealer water based must be have very good clarity and didn't use any pigments.
